Two Verities of Goda Clay and Bangadeni Clay in the Waikkala area would be admixture 2:3:1 stores one by one layer at the Mixer Tank and cut by mamotee and mix. Later crushing clay with water for needed.
After clay put in Pagmil Machine and grind. Grinded Clay came out pulled by twine as big clay cube. It is divided 1 ¼” thickness bar by the cable. After cut came 14” length and 9” wide. Clay cube have been size 14”x9”x 1 ¼”. This cube stores at separate place.
Next day of this clay cube prepared with applied Coco-nut Oil and Karosing Oil and put on the disc. After this disc getting a shape as a Roof Tile by the Press Machine used by Die. Have being this roof Tile net weight 8 1`/2 Kilograms. After adzing of this Roof Tile put on the wooden plate and stores at the wooden racks.
So this Roof Tiles should be dry at these racks on the 3, 4 days. This time should be decide whether situation. Accordingly to those dry tiles store at kiln. The kiln capacity is 12,000 tiles. After stores tiles closed the doors using the bricks and clay. Burning of tiles at meager warmth for 5 days and 24 hours excessive warmth. After burning close the damper of kiln for a day. The Second day opens the damper. The Third day opens the kiln door. At final day tiles should by get on outside. And checked quality of the tiles as 1, 2, 3. Net weight of burned tile is 2.5 Kilograms.
